Restaurant/places to eat in Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers
We were traveling to the Hokuriku area for about ten days and stopped in Yokohama before proceeding on to Asakusa for our the next leg of our 3-week itinerary. I arranged to stay at this hotel to rest in western comfort. Large rooms and western hospitality. Plus, all of our large suitcases were shipped from our Tokyo Station hotel in the beginning of our trip, to this hotel so that we could change out the clothes and souvenirs from our Hokuriku region itinerary with clothes appropriate for the next part of our itinerary. This hotel is conveniently located with a major train hub in Yokohama. We met up with friends who live near Yokohama and had the most amazing 6-course Chinese lunch in our own private room at this hotel. Exceptionally prepared Chinese courses that I have not tasted before. I would say it’s almost like the kaiseki of Chinese art of cooking. The hotel staff is well trained and courteous. They helped us ship our pieces of luggage to the last hotel stay of our itinerary before we moved on to the next part of our itinerary.

We had been on a long trip around Japan by rail and Tokyo/ Yokohama was to be our final destination and we wanted some pampering and luxury but also easy access to rail station and to Haneda airport for our UK return. The Sheraton ticked all the boxes ! Inside it looks and is palatial but the staff are very relaxed, efficient and pleasant. We got checked in an hour early and enjoyed a lovely trip around the city and Bay Area before enjoying a great nights sleep….what a room ! The next few days were also great and a 12 noon check out is also a big bonus !

Ken

Room was great and big for Japan! Location is superb next to Yokohama Station, so you can access Tokyo very easily, cheaply and quickly (better than paying +50% more to stay in Tokyo!) Yokohama is a great city and a great place to hang out and eat. Breakfast was on the 2nd Floor Compass Restaurant with a very large self-service buffet and omelette station with chef and freshly squeezed orange machine.

Simon

Conveniently close to Yokohama station, you literally can just walk through the station to the hotel elevators. Rooms were clean and love that they did a "green pass" type of thing where they gave you a 500 yen certificate per day that you didn't need maid service. Several restaurant choices inside the hotel and in the surrounding area so we never went hungry.

This is my second time staying at the Sheraton and it was fantastic. I love the breakfast and the pool is quite nice too. It is very conveniently located to fantastic shopping and the train station. Everything you need is in walking distance. Room is lovely and beds are very comfortable.
